Neck Pain Help, New Procedure using Botox could it work for you?
Neck Pain April 6th, 2008My latest procedure was Botox injection. Yep, Botox. The general idea is the Botox is injected in the muscles near the nerves involved. It relaxes the muscles and hopefully lessons the pressure on the nerves, thus giving them a chance to rest which will help with the pain.
It has actually help! The pain in the back of my neck is better! I am so excited. It isn’t permanent, it might last 3-4 months. It’s possible in that time the never will have enough time to heal. If the pain comes back you need to have more injections. Unfortunately I have no insurance anymore so I am praying it heals completley and my Social Security Disability comes soon so I can get some financial help and health care.

Hi Jackie thanks so much for joining my blog. You can also go to the Forums if you want to start your own Forum topic. Please tell all your friends, as you can see we are just starting but I think the site will take off quickly if people pass it on.
Can you tell me more about his symptoms? How the injury happened? I’m guessing the injections where steroid? If so they usually do them in a set of 3 maybe 2 weeks apart. How many did he have? If he didn’t feel any relief after the second shot don’t waste your time on the 3rd.
